jseralcomm

Hi, I just started to learn java, I have a silly question, in java when it says

import java.io.BufferedReader;
import java.io.InputStreamReader;
import java.io.OutputStream;
import gnu.io.CommPortIdentifier;
import gnu.io.SerialPort;
import gnu.io.SerialPortEvent;
import gnu.io.SerialPortEventListener;
import java.util.Enumeration;
etc.

does it mean each import correspond to a .jar? such as BufferedReader;.jar?

Also I try to communicate with the Pi from an Andriod phone, I am entertaining the idea of using jSerialComm, is it a good idea? (I read that the old RXTXcomm is deprecated, is that right?)

Thanks.
