I have been looking for creative ways to have the pi setup more compact and neat, while also playing with the idea of making it a portable setup and this in my idea around this.

Some portable DVD players have an AV in, a nice battery and alot of space if you gut the disk assembly leaving room to put the pi inside the casing, run it off the battery, video out to the AV in on the player and perhaps even fit a small keyboard in the recession from gutting the player. Some even have an SD slot that may or may not be able to connect to your USB port.

If you have a portable DVD player of which the disk assembly (laser, motor, etc) is broken, this could be a nice project, and one I'm hoping to complete if I can get myself to buy a portable dvd player with the intention of gutting it.

I have got awesome mouse on CeBIT this year and it works amazing with RPi.
It is just ideal to use with XBMC.

I saw connecting a PSOne to the Raspberry Pi (RPi), but I didn't understand how it is practically done.
1 Could you explain it?

2 How would be possible to connect to the RPi also a touch panel screen (like this ... 231f597512) to make the PSOne screen a touch screen?

3 if this would not work would it be feasible to connect to the RPi a ready made TFT touch screen (like this ... 1423.l2649 or this one ... 3cc960e819)?

Thanks a lot
