dreamcast retropie

Fri Jan 09, 2015 8:47 pm

Does the dreamcast emulator work well on a raspberry pi running retropie image? Are there any systems included in retropie that cant be run if overclocked to turbo?

Tnx in advance,

No DC, not even close to possible. N64 is about as far as you can emulate. It and ps1 are far from perfect and both require heavy over clocks.

Read this: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/1 ... cting_.php
and then take into account that the Dreamcast has a 200 MHZ x86 Hitachi processor.

not true, not x86 at all. it uses another kind of 32-BIT RISC processor than the PI running at 200MHz, it also had a relatively powerful GPU.
