Hello, i'm still new to Raspberry Pi MicroProcessor. However, i have a very well understanding of Electronics. Now i need some advice from users who look after the retro Life. I was planning to recreate the Nintendo 64 into a portable console. But i encountered two problems. I was wondering if i should use the same motherboard from the Nintendo 64 or if i should use a Raspberry Pi! My only purpose for this is to play only Nintendo 64 games on this portable console. My Best bet would be to reuse the motherboar just modify it into a portable use. The thing is, I dont see the need of buying multiple Nintendo 64 games, but rather have them all saved in a cartrigdge or have them as rom. Now that is something i have no idea how to approach since i'm not sure if there is some hack cartridge that lets me install numerous of nintendo 64 roms. Now i know the raspberry pi has distro that run emulators, but the realty is that from what ive been reading is that not all Nintendo 64 games can run do to the lack of Ram, etc. Now if there is a distro for the pi that when turned on it will automatically run the Nintendo 64 Emulator (Lets me play Rom) otherwise i'm not sure how else to approach which is better. I dont want to use the PI has a desktop! Which do you recommend and which distro in case you say to use a Pi!
