Here is a quick look at a project im working on. It's pretty much a gameboy case and buttons intergrated with a pi and an arduino.

I've taken a few components off the pi to make it fit
I wired a Teensy 2.0++ to the contact pads on the front using an old IDE cable and connected the teensy to the pi via usb interfacing as a keyboard.
I used a 1.3Mah lipo and a 3.5" car screen with a 5v 3a ubec for the PI.

I also need put a balance plug on the outside of the case to tidy it up a bit. The buttons on the front are all working and correctly mapped.
