hi guys, after writing the both B+ images posted on here I'm not getting any boot menu. I get booted straight in xbmc and I don't seem to get any other option. Am I missing something here ?
EDIT I got it working now using the rpi-update via a b model. Just updating XBMC to KODI then adding some roms.
Can somebody tell me how to load up the emulators please ?

I was curious if there was a way, on the B+ img, to get a wifi usb adapter to work?
On previous XMBC images alone, like Raspbmc, wifi worked fine with minimal config in Xbmc only, but I cant seem to get it to work on UltraSlim. I'm trying to have a little cabling hooked up as possible.
Help would be greatly appreciated!
(Excuse the new-ish flavor of my msg...this is all very new to me!!)
Cheers

Yes there is away to get WiFi all all xbmc devices. Go to LXDE desktop open LXTerminal type in the command (sudo apt-get install wpasupplicant wpagui) This will install the wpa_gui. also you might have to do a sudo apt-get update if you have not done so yet.
(Let me know if that worked for you Silhouette35)

hi why are you not using Emulation Station 2.0 on this image..?
And I can't get it to resize the sd card its say it has 0 space of 1.3 GB when its a 16gb sd card...weird..
How many emulators are in it,it looks like you not have Sega CD in there..?
I am using retropie and it better,I am going to put XBMC in it some and I might shear the image if you want it but its going to be 16GB cos I don't have a 4 GB sdcard.(I have put in a menu in terminal so you can select what you want from there. I have VNC in it to so I can remotely connect to it.)

I am having issues on first Boot. Press the Enter key to start raspi-config. Unfortunately, at this point my USB and Ethernet ports appear to not be working. So I am just stuck at this point with no input devices.
I have used NOOB successfully with keyboard, mouse, and wireless wifi adapter so I believe my peripherals are fine.
I am using the B+ model. Any ideas?

I am now testing this on the RPi2 but the omxplayer for the intro video gives a very persistent dbus error and the joystick detects too fast so you can hardly select a game from the emulationstation menu.
I use imame4all for mame emulation and it also has a problem with the joystick, (Using the xin-mo dual joystick hardware usb thingy)
But all and all this was what I expected after the upgrade to the RPi2

Hello. Really love your work and your afforts.
Will there be a port for the raspberry pi 2? That would be so awesome!
Also, does anyone have a noob friendly guide for setting this up with 2 controller support etc. ? =)

Ok... Does 1.6 work on Rpi2? because I`ve img`d a few times on different cards and it doesn`t boot at all..
I`ve double checked everything. Retropie works so I know I don`t have a duff pi2..
thanks

You might have better luck by copying RPi2 raspbian /boot files into UltraSlim's, although I've not tested this one yet.stainy wrote:Ok... Does 1.6 work on Rpi2? because I`ve img`d a few times on different cards and it doesn`t boot at all..

This image is depreciated wait for the new update.

By thinking like an engineer you can create a raspberry pi.
Michael Jackson enthusiast.
I got the PI model B, B+ and PI 2 model B.
When will I get the A? I don't know.

So I don't need anything but the ultra slim files?
Re: 01/16 UltraSlim = Retro/Gaming/Q3|XBMC 12/13|Desktop + m
You can update the image yourself if you have a Raspberry Pi Model B (or other compatible model).
Simply boot the image up on the compatible Pi model and run the following:That should be all you need
That is the abbreviated version anyways - I did a quick write up with details as well if anyone is interested.

Also - @ LordvanZed . I wrote a guide that contains documentation on controller setup. It is on the very first post of this thread.
@TakenOver83 - I would be happy to update the image for the new model if you don't mind me hosting it....Just let me know.
~Cheers
