I thought about releasing a tar or something for updates. But didn't want to over complicate thing's. Maybe I will in the future.

Nice setup, easy to use and get going. One thing I have found out is Picodrive supports Sega Master System, which runs at full speed (though some games have graphic glitches). One problem I have found is that the Atari 2600 emulator has an issue with sound. The longer you play, the longer sound lags. It isn't noticeable at first, but after playing for about 5-10 minutes, sound will lag a full second and longer. I imagine the longer you play, the further sound will be lagged.

There was an issue with Stella due to Raspbian O/S which has since been 'fixed'

See Here - http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 78&t=57035

However, it seems to be a problem with the RetroArch Core and is not associated with the issue described above.I believe Vanfanel has reported this to the developers of RetroArch.

Can you please put up a zip file? My Pi can't unzip 7z files properly.
I'm happy to help.

Firstly, I LOVE UltraSlim, using it as a base for my living room entertainment center (need to get yesterdays updates lol)

Just a few ideas of things i've added to mine that I'd like to see in the main release:
1 - python and scratch tabs: I know its possible to run said apps (is scratch installed? I've not tried scratch actually... mental note, check scratch) through a .sh in the apps folder, but i particularly like them having their own tabs
2 - pygame: I may have just broken it while re configuring my python (PyPy), but i had to install pygame to get it working.
3 - scratch: Personally I prefer python, but my kid likes scratch, and I couldnt find the scratch editor
4 - Config manager: I wrote myself a quick program to edit the es_systems.cfg file, and i'm working on one that can do all the config files. When its done, I can send it you if you like, i just think it would make editing configs alot quicker and cleaner (is gui or command line better for this? mines command line)

But yeh, I love it :) Thankyou for making this possible.

Scratch, and other thing's were removed to get the "slim" setup. You can always reinstall the stuff you need. I have a base minimal image I build up from that I created myself (from the latest raspbian). Then I just reinstall the stuff I need. Personally I have zero experience with scratch. I am pretty sure pygame was removed as well? I have script I use with stuff that is removed in my minimal image. Might have to dig it out so you could have a look.

Just some ideas. I have added the bits that i wanted to add. Just thought they were worth mentioning in the interest of sharing. My config manager (command line) is almost finished now, I'll send it you, along with the appropriate .sh file when i'm done. You might be interested, just makes the process of editing config files a bit more user friendly :)

Is there a way to get wifi to work within XMBC? There is no option to do the wifi setup somehow in the systems tab and when I download and start the "Network-Manager" add-on it just throws a script error (script.linux.nm), so it seems no wifi is possible(?) with this set up?

Intro I was thinking of including in the next version (thank's to welshy for showing me it). Not the greatest quality but I think its pretty cool.

That file is generated by emulationstation when you change any of the default settings. Not there by default. As I usually leave emulationstation settings alone, I did not have it. But you might find out more about it here.
