Hello i have a raspberry pi 512
I have installed retropie
On first boot i mapped My controlls on a retro nintendo usb pad and they work
But Then when i must map the keys for the emulator in the commandline
cd RetroPie/emulators/RetroArch/tools
./retroarch-joyconfig >> ~/RetroPie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
I cant do it cause i dont have the ~ or i cant find it? i have tryed every key on My board ? I Only have ˜ and using that dont work ?
Im very happy for any help

It doesnt work i cant even enter the retroarch/tools map
When im in /home/pi and write "cd retropie" it just say some error
I just want to configure My gamepad what to do ?????

sudo apt-get install mc (press enter)
mc (press enter)
Now you have a environment to move along the directories.

LoL i solved the problem 
When i wrote "cd RetroPie/emulators/RetroArch/tools"
I didnt now that it was important to hit BIG or small letters on the keyboard
So i wrote every letter small and that is what cause the problem
