Pinball 3D on raspberry

Tue Aug 27, 2013 8:43 pm

Hi there,

I am looking for a nice little Pinball game that could be run on the raspberry, preferred in 3D and with a portrait screen orientation.
Does anyone know if there are existing Pinball games like that? I have no problem if the games are only available as source code.

Thank you.

Yeah, wolfenstein and TIM2 work pretty good, if you dont like the speed, try fastdosbox, 2,99 in pi store

This is from fastdosbox key features list:

Speed of a 386DX @ 25Mhz

So... for Space Cadet... nope.

...as I thought.

I would like to try emilia from source, but i do not like the perspective. The perfect solution would be a portrait mode screen resolution.

I need this too. I would like to have some 3D pinball games in my cabinet.

The best pinball game I tried in the raspberry pi is an PS1 game: Patriotic pinball (I don't like a lot but is the best I found)

I can't get working True pinball or Extreme pinball on pcsx_rearmed.

Any other ideas for 3D pinball?

I got emilia to run, it seems there are several perspectives.
The only problem is: It does not work "in game". The menu is ok, i can select and load a table, but it gets stuck if I'd like to start a game. There's no move at all, but the application is not dead, I can get back to the menu and change preferences, table, quit...

Any ideas? Anyone?
