raspbian apt PCSX problems

Wed Jul 10, 2013 6:23 am

Hello all,

I just nabbed pcsx from aptitude on my raspbian install yesterday. I went to attempt to get it working today, but it seems I have failed. If I select the xvideo graphics plugin, I get the error "RGB & YUV not found. Quitting." If I select the opengl plugin, I get some strange error about X and how it is likely a bug... I am connected via rca, and the windows for the configuration of both of these plugins runs off the bottom of the page. They cannot be resized, or moved up....

I see people have it working all over the place, I am just wondering what I am missing. Is it something on those config pages? How did the non hdmi users go about setting this thing up?

Thanks,
walrus

You should use pcsx_reARMed, which was made for ARM processors and uses OpenGL ES instead of OpenGL.

You can get it for free from the Raspberry Pi store: http://store.raspberrypi.com/projects/pcsx_rearmed
