Re: Good Games to download to pi?
There are around 1,000 games available, free of charge in the Debian games collection (http://packages.debian.org/stable/games/) if you are running Raspbian.
I have a page where we a painstakingly going through every one to see if they work on the Pi and if they are any good with a dedicated page for each game for ratings and comments. I've been adding videos of the games running too. The page is at http://www.pi-fun.com/index.php/project ... challenge/
Currently, we have 89 games added to the "database". 23 work perfectly, 7 have problems but can run, 16 don't work at all (almost all because they use OpenGL) and 43 remain untested. Out of all of these so far, I have rated 7 as "4 star" (no "5 star" games yet), including Chocolate doom (FPS), Boswars (RTS) and Alex4 (Classic Gameboy-style Platformer). Most of these games can be installed with a simple one-line command.
We are also working on sourcing original games for the Pi (it's a good platform!). Don't forget the Pi store too.

Yes, 'toppler', available from the repositories withhopkissonfreddie wrote:any suggestions for good games for my pi?
sudo apt-get install toppler
It's a very faithful clone of the addicitive eighties tower-climbing platformer 'Nebulus'.
