Hi. I want to set up Recallbox on a new raspberry pi 3. The cana kit I purchased has an SS card with noobs on it
I’m not sure if I should use noobs to install the raspberry os or use a fresh SD card with the recall box software?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

If you don't know how to write OS images to SD cards then you should install the operating systems included with NOOBS if you are trying to install Recalbox then you should be able to see Recalbox when you start the RPI computer, when the computer starts you will see the NOOBS menu.
If don't see RecalBox in the NOOBS menu try activating the wifi network inside the NOOBS menu, you can try to install Lakka using NOOBS or if you know how to install OS images you can install Retropie, which are similar operating systems.

The best way to install Recallbox if you use windows is download the img and use rufus to burn the image to the ssd.
If you are on Linux, most distros come with an image burner that support img files.
On a side note the above poster mentioned Lakka, which is what i use for the pi´s i own. While for my own taste is better than Recallbox or Retropie, it's also a bit more cumbersome.
Pairing a BT Joystick on Recallbox or Retropie is quite simple, with Lakka for most BT joystick you need use SSH.
Same goes for other functions like Time Zone, no option on Lakka, so you need to set it, using SSH.
