Raspberry Pi 3B+ Emulation Very Slow

Tue Feb 26, 2019 2:23 am

Hello everyone! I was under the impression the Raspberry Pi 3B+ runs PS1 games well but I am unable to get a smooth, playable game. I have a 5V 3A Power supply and a fan on my Pi, the emulator Im using is PCSXR, because I cant figure out how to uninstall any other one, I am using Raspbian OS and most tutorials are on UBUNTU, which makes it harder..

I have installed PS1 Bios and the games open, but its very choppy and slow, like a scratched CD and Ive tried several differnt .bin files.. any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've played (and still playing from time to time) Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Ridge Racer, Grand Turismo, Tekken 2, etc on a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B (RPi3B) using RetroPi.

Played smooth, no different from the original console....
"Don't come to me with 'issues' for I don't know how to deal with those
Come to me with 'problems' and I'll help you find solutions"

Some people be like:
"Help me! Am drowning! But dont you dare touch me nor come near me!"
