Minecraft with Pi Hut Wireless Gamepad / Controller

Wed Oct 10, 2018 6:19 pm

Id like to be able to control Minecraft with one of the Pi Hut Wireless Gamepad / Controllers. They look a bit like this:

https://thepihut.com/products/raspberry ... controller

Ive looked everywhere for an idiots guide but as a newbie, Im a bit lost. There seems to be a great python library for the controller but wondered if Minecraft will support the controller natively??

After many more hours of looking, I have discovered Qjoypad which maps USB joypads to a keyboard or mouse button.

This is perfect for everything and allows the controller to move around and do all the actions that I need.

The only issue is the 'looking around' which is normally done using the mouse. Although there is a 'map to mouse' function to move the mouse around with the controller, it really doesnt work and moves to extremes rather than gently as the mouse.

IF anyone is familiar and I am doing something dumb, please let me know as this is the last bit I need!
