Super Nintendo Bluetooth Controller

Fri Oct 13, 2017 8:48 am

Hi guys!

I have recently seen the following DIY-instruction for adding a bluetooth module to the original Super Nintendo Controller for the Raspberry Pi (of course it could be used for different devices, but I'd like to use it for my Pi).

https://learn.adafruit.com/snes-ez-key- ... d/overview

I already bought two controllers, but the bluetooth-module, that was used in the instruction video, is currently not available.
So I'm looking for an alternative. The thing is that I have no idea of microcontrollers, etc. So I would like to get a module which I would only have to solder onto the circuit board of the SNES-controller.

I hope that some of you might have an alternative for me. The easier the solution, the better.

Many thanks in advance!

Greetings

You could add yourself to be notified when new stock arrives.

That controller is not as good quality as the BUFFALO/iBUFFALO brand controllers. The dark area is just a sticker (not plastic) and the buttons are likely mushy.

If you just want a bluetooth controller, try the 8Bitdo SNES30 wireless gamepad. It seems to have reviews comparable to BUFFALO.
