I finally installed Raspian and RetroPie
Everything working fine on the HDMI monitor

I then installed the LCD screen software :
cd /boot
sudo tar zxvf LCD-show-160701.tar.gz
cd LCD-show/
sudo ./LCD35-show

Still displaying on the HDMI monitor and very difficult to read
The LCD is white with no display
Do I need to edit the config file ?
It's a 480x320 LCD touchscreen display

I actually ran into the same problem today. My display goes blank after setting up the raspi to install retropie over Raspbian

I tried:
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
yesterday before going to bed (it was late and i was tired).

When i woke up this morning, i rebooted the pi and the display was all blank. I had the same issue yesterday afternoon so I flashed the OS again, thinking it was all my fault (i can't recall if i did the Expand Filesystem thing)...

So before going to bed I flashed again and did the Expand FS thing again. Now that i know that the screen will go blank after running the command, I'm trying to get solutions for it... but still got nothing yet

EDIT: my display is not a Kuman HDMI, but one of these http://www.raspberrypiwiki.com/index.php/3.5_inch_TFT_LCD_Touch_Screen_SKU:363295 also with a resolution of 480*320
