Help with retropie

Sun Jan 01, 2017 10:28 pm

Okay, so I'll start from the beginning. I bought an SD card from a seller on etsy , and it works perfectly with my raspberry pi 3 model B. It boots, and EmulationStation comes up. (Sorry if i'm not using correct computer terms, I am very new to raspberry pi, so excuse my lack of knowledge.)

Keep in mind that I do NOT have a keyboard to type ANYTHING into the terminal. I have a Logitech controller, but I'm not sure that i can get it hooked up with retropie without a keyboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks! :D

I am going to assume you have a wifi adapter for you pi
Try using the SSH terminal program called puTTY (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgta ... nload.html)
All you need is your username and password (defaults are pi and raspberry respectively) and the ip address (open up command prompt and type "ping retropie" the ip address it pulls up is your raspberry pi's IP address)
It should then pull up a terminal that you should be able to do any setup on

Return to “Gaming”
