Retropie emulator installation.

Wed Jun 22, 2016 5:55 pm

Hey everyone, super new here, just getting started with my rasp pi 3 emulator, but I am running into a bit of an issue:
I really would love to be able to play Zelda OoT, and I've read that mupen64plus is the best emulator to run it on (no audio issues, good frame rate etc), however, I have absolutely no idea how to install this or access it.

I went through the basic steps (ran ./retropie_setup.sh, went through the options and installed the emulator both from binary and from source), but I can't find it. I was hoping that it would create a folder in the retropie/roms/ directory, but alas it did not. I was wondering if I should just make my own folder and it'll work for me (although that just seems way too magical to be the correct method to access the emulator), or what my next steps should be.

Thank you for any and all help,
Happy gaming.

it's the default emulator for n64 in current versions of retropie i believe. what makes you think you're not running it?

ps, this would probably be better in the retropie forums :)
