Found this gem on a exhibition - RPi Retro Game

Tue Apr 19, 2016 9:53 am

I attended 2 weeks ago a retro exhibition and was magically attracted to this stunning looking Arcade machine. Talked to the guy who made this and it turned out there's a raspberry pi running inside! Back home downloaded it for my Pi and loved it. As it seems it's still under development but within the 2 weeks there were 3 new updates available. Contacted the guy again and he told me he's currently working on multiplayer over the internet. Just ordered the pi3 but i can confirm it runs absolutly stable and fast on the pi and pi2. Meanwhile i have donated a few bucks towards this project and got the keyfile. The tracks are amazing like them all except the desert track which is too orange looking for my taste. Almost scared to death when the lightning hit in that rainy track that was such a loud noise and the screen went bright white. Somehow unexpected but really cool. Usually i'm not that active (only reading so far here as guest) but i wanted to share this because i think it's a neat little game for the RPi if you like arcade racing games as i do. Game is called Amiga Racer and can be found here: http://www.amigatec.com

What a pitty, it runs on bit-rotten SDL1.x.
Wake me up when it's updated to use SDL2.

I asked that myself, the devloper said that for Amiga Platform is only SDL 1.2 available. But honestly i don't care if it's version 1 or 2.
