How to Pair 2 ps3 controllers on retropie v3.0

Thu Jun 11, 2015 4:54 am

I've seen people doing this on the old versions but have yet to see anyone talking about pairing multiple PS3 controllers on the new RetroPie Version 3.0 Anyone here can confirm this is possible and if so how to do it?

I'm trying to do the same. Using the pair function I can pair 2 controllers, but after reboot I can only connect one or the other. I'm trying to pair 4 total. When I try to pair the 3rd it never pairs.

I found the solution for getting 2 controllers to work at the link below. Reposted here for convenience. I'm still looking for a way to pair 4 PS3 controllers.

Above the Exit 0 in the /etc/rc.local add:
“hciconfig hci0 piscan”
This forces the bluetooth scanner to continue to scan for connections after it has connected once thus allowing a second controller to connect.
