Hearthstone possible?

Fri Feb 27, 2015 7:23 pm

Hey guys,
I just wanna know if it's possible to play Hearthstone on a raspi 2 b?
I thought about the android-tablet-version, but because android seems to be no topic in this forum (at least what I've read yet), I thought I ask here in the forum if there could be a possible solution to play Hearthstone!
Thanks in advice :) !

Android Requirements
  • Operating System: Android 4.0 or later
  • Memory: 1 GB RAM
Not specified on CPU power, however, it may be possible :)
You will just have to get the .apk .

Well, Androids not going to happen any time soon. You could try and port it yourself if you really want it, but it will probably be really slow and take a long time to port.

I'm afraid since Hearthstone is closed source, and will never become open source, it is not possible to port to the pi.

Barring a full port of android which itself is unlikely, this isn't possible.

I think the system requirements aren't the problem, but I don't know a way to install an .apk-file in raspbian (or any other os except from Android). And because WINE is obviously not working and a Mac OS X - Port is even harder to realize I thought maybe it's going to work with Android. Sadly Android isn't a system that the others like very much (but OpenElec is a system made for education :irony off), so I thought maybe there is an other solution to get Hearthstone running I haven't thought about yet...
