Geometry Dash On Raspberry Pi? Possible?

Thu Apr 05, 2018 4:50 pm

Hey, I was wondering if it would be possible to get Geometry Dash or another game like it on the Raspberry Pi. I mean, Minecraft, quake and more can run on it, so I don't see why Geometry Dash can't, I just think it will be a cool thing to have. Thanks :D

It can run if the developer ports the game to Linux or makes the code open source so someone else can port it to Linux.
And even then its no guarantee it would run well on the Pi.
I mean, Minecraft, quake and more can run on it, so I don't see why Geometry Dash can't,
That is almost like saying "why cant small dogs fly" when they are small animals just like birds. ;)

Maybe. I did a quick google search and found this. https://anbox.io/. I haven't used it or seen it before but after having a look at it, it looks like installing geometry dash from a .apk might be possible.
Alternatively, you could try and find an android image you can put on your PI and run it from that.
Hope this helps :D

Yes it can! But you have to install android os on the raspberry pi which can be a little bit difficult to find on the internet

I haven't tested out the game myself but in theory it should
