Gamecube on the Rpi 3?

Tue Oct 17, 2017 3:08 am

I'm trying to make a handheld for a friend, and he said he needed GameCube. We both grew up with it, and want to be able to play it on our Rpis. Is it possible to get a GameCube emulator in the Rpi 3?

I would try downloading the Dolphin-emu package for arm64. The hardware just might be able to handle smooth game play.

Has anyone tested this yet? I'm considering trying it with Zelda Wind Waker but I don't want to attempt it unless someone can confirm it's performance and if games are playable.

From what i understand running the Gamecube emulator on the ARM controller of the pi is not going to work and if it does not well. A way around this is to set up moonlight and steam. use the gamecube emulator through steam and you can play it through the pi.
