Scratch 2 File extension when using an extension

Mon Aug 21, 2017 9:13 pm

Been playing with the extensions for a bit.
What is the intended scratch extension? Would it still be a .sb2, or a .sbx ?
It seems if I save it once, it's a .sb2, but if I load it and save it again, it becomes a .sbx and is no longer loadable.

Anyone else can see this ?

You are correct. You need to rename the file after saving it. Hopefully this bug will be fixed in the future.

I just updated my tutorial on creating your own custom extensions and describe saving and loading projects. Here is a link to the turtorial:

THanks for the link to your tutorial. I'm not quite ready yet but I will soon need it.
Much appreciated!
