Hi,
I'm fairly new to the Raspberry Pi but I've heard people mentioning the use of Android and an upcoming official Android release for Raspberry Pi.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experiences with this and how games run on Android w/ the Pi? I know that one of the complaints with regards to the installation and use of Android on a Pi is that it runs kind of clunky and it isn't nearly as smooth / optimized as other operating systems, such as Raspbian.
With all that being said, I've also noticed an interest in clusters with the Raspberry Pi, lately. Is there a way to compile a small cluster (say, 3 or 4 Raspberry Pi's) connected to a master Pi running an operating system that is utilizing the processor speeds and RAM of the entire cluster to make all tasks more smooth, including games? Could this be applicable to a Raspberry Pi running Android? I'm sure that there would have to be a lot of programming and customization involved in a project such as this; but you have to admit that it sounds like a fun project.
Unfortunately, I am not very knowledgeable in the area of cluster machines so I don't know if what I am asking is total ignorant and impossible.
I look forward to the responses.
