So many will never ever believe that statement, Android on Pi is a holy grail !!!!!!

Roll on the regurgitation of "How do I install Android OS" ad infinitum

I'm going to guess it's basically dead. It's definitely not supported in any way by the foundation (or in other words it's a 100% fan based project). The wiki page might lead you to better answers

Hi, I've been trying to port android on Rpi, but getting the coloured screen. If there's anyone who could solve this issue and has successfully run the android image on Rpi, then please share the steps! I need to get this done urgently.

Haven't you read the rest of the thread, (and the sticky's) saying that nobody got Android working on the PI, and there is little if any chance anybody will, (because you have to write your own GPU accelerators) its not something you can do in haste, and probably not at all.

raspand,

There are a TON of cheap phones, tablets, tv sticks running android.

If that is not enough, there is another ton of single board computers that can run android.

The Raspberry Pi is not one of the SBC's that can run android.

At least, it haves a clean GNU/Linux driver stack, unlike a lot of SBCs.(even Intel's ones, as they use PowerVR)
