Hi Guys,
Has any of you successfully got hello_pi working from user-land code for Razdroid.
Im running into some issues, it would be grateful if some of you have got it working on Rpi.
Appreciate any suggestions in advance.
Thanks,
kpp
Please let us know when you complete those minimal changes.kpp wrote:Hi Richard,
Thanks for the response, i need suggestions on the below points:
1. Does hello_pi code work on the linux flavour of Rpi for video playback? (probably on raspbian)
(Currently stuck with cmake installation on Rpi)
2. If it works for linux, what would be the major change in getting it to work for Android?
The kernel changes would be minimal right?(we can use the same kernel with the android configuration and it should work)
Correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks,
kpp
Any hint of Android is dead in the water, just forget Android and stick with Raspbian Wheezy, if youkpp wrote:Hi Richard,

As far as I know there are people working on porting Android - so I wouldn't say it's completely dead. Whether the efforts will ever get a decent working version going I don't know.fruitoftheloom wrote:Any hint of Android is dead in the water, just forget Android and stick with Raspbian Wheezy, if youkpp wrote:Hi Richard,

must have Android there are plenty of alternatives, but you will not have the large community support.

Did you read the "Whether the efforts will ever get a decent working version going I don't know" bit?fruitoftheloom wrote:"As far as I know there are people working on porting Android - so I wouldn't say it's completely dead. Yes well it has been TWO YEARS and still no Android which is ""stable"" http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... 73&t=71658
Yes I did and feel 2 years should be emphasised to anyone who feels that Android should be a god given right...............jamesh wrote:Did you read the "Whether the efforts will ever get a decent working version going I don't know" bit?fruitoftheloom wrote:"As far as I know there are people working on porting Android - so I wouldn't say it's completely dead.
