Androi on Pi: unable to boot

i downloaded cm7+ethernet image from here http://androidpi.wikia.com/wiki/Android_Pi_Wiki
and since i am running a rev.2 board i also replaced the nececarry file from https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware

but still i get nothing pl. help

I would suspect that Android being long since abandoned on the Pi would have a lot to do with it.
Don't judge Linux by the Pi.......
I must not tread on too many sacred cows......

I think it has been well established beyond reasonable doubt from the many posts since time began to the death of the universe that Android on the Pi doesn't work unless it has drivers.

He's using the Cyanogenmod Gingerbread build which does boot to desktop (4.0 build just crashes) but it's slow as hell due to lack of hardware drivers so no video, music or network support.
The YouTube video has also been chopped up conveniently at 2:44 so it's not a good representation of how long it takes for Android to boot up in real time.

Sadly it's catch22 with Android on the Pi, Broadcom won't provide drivers for no money and Cyangenmod cannot build drivers because only Broadcom have the details about the VideoCore4 chip.

Maybe the RPF could have an Android donation fund or something to pay the Broadcom engineers to work on drivers. :)

Alright so i was finally able to boot it
The display came and then.....Kernel-panic !!!
Cannot find init !!! :( :(

Ps. I used the bootfile bootcode.bin etc from raspbian
