New To Android

Hello folks, :)
I just bought a raspberry pi, and im around 18 years old . i know C,C++ and i am very much interested in android. but i wanna know how to build your own (bootable) android rom for raspberry or any other device.

PS: note that i am a newbie n i know nothing much . N im intrested in learning everything :) can anyone help me out ?

There are bootable images but all lack device drivers (of which Broadcom are supposedly coding) so they run very slow to the point of being useless.
If you want to tinker around with Android in general without a phone or tablet then try the Android SDK emulator or Virtual Box + Android-x86 with 2.3 ASUS image (the others don't boot).
