Android?

Mon Apr 01, 2013 1:56 pm

I've already put thsi into the programming section but whatever..
Hi.
I really want to make a messaging app in Android. The only problem is that I don't know how to. I have the SDK and an Android Phone myself but I do not know the language which I think is Java.

Any ideas to help (books, websites, forums). Anything will be received gratefully.
Thanks,
Liam

Purchase any "learn to develop for Android" book on Amazon. Don't expect to use your Raspi for anything though.

Amazon book search:

This section is for discussing running android on the pi, not writing android apps.

The programming section is for discussing programming for the pi. Not making android apps.

This topic fits nowhere on these forums at all.

What about here http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=62?

This https://developer.android.com/training/index.html can be a good place to start for learning to develop Android apps.
