Android for Hynix Rev B Board

Subject to my previous post about Android not booting up, I found that the cause of the failure of Android to load was because the image doesn't have boot code for the Hynix memory chip. Has anyone manged to change the code to get it to work or is there a specific image to make it work on the B v2 RPi

Just replace the start.elf and bootcode.bin in the root partition with the latest version to see if that works.

It would a very quick job to try the latest start.elf and bootcode.bin...

Yup, that's all you'll need!

Sorry I haven't been on this thread in a while. I would suggest using Fedora until Android gets up and running - you will need the bootcode.bin, start.elf and fixup.dat from the openELEC build - and that build only for some reason, probably because of partitioning. You'll need to download the .tar.bz2 (I think that's the extension!?) Extract twice with 7Zip.

P.S. Use SDFormatter's SDFULL Overwrite if you get mmcblk0p* errors

Here I can find the 2 correct files u spoke about?

Go to OpenELEC's site and download the .tar.bzip2 (i think it is this extension)

extract the .tar from the .bzip2

then extract all files from the .tar

use the start.elf bootcode.bin and the fixup.dat from there and move these to the boot partition using windows.
Note: this is only to fix android boot if the ACT light only flashes once and nothing is displayed.
I am not aware of any other files, inculding stock Raspbian files, that work

any hint to make Android running faster on RPi?
with default RPi settings Android is running very slow

Sure, if you clock it to around 6Ghz
