Installing the base system on the SD card from a Tablet

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about buying a rPi, however, looking in to it, I need to copy the base system into the SD card.

The only other device I have at home with an SD port is my tablet, which coincidently runs android.

Does anyone know how I would go about installing the base system on the card via the Tablet?

Root the tablet
Then get busybox installed
then you'll be able to use dd on the tablet to do what you need.
