Different question about BerryBoot

Tue Jun 16, 2020 8:34 pm

i need to run android on my raspberry pi so i have couple question.

- Can i use VNC in berryboot or something similar (i don't have a keyboard or mouse just for the pi and i use VNC to do the job via another device)
- can i install berryboot if i already have an existing installation of raspberry pi OS
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - If that's the case, what are the step
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - If that's not the case, then there should be a way to backup the OS and install it on berryboot

- What's the OS with the latest android version available on the raspberry pi
- maybe more...

First and foremost there is no Official Goole Android Operating System released for tne Raspberry Pi SBC.

There are versions of LineageOS and you will find details in the Android Section, if you post in the appropriate post the developer will help you:

BerryBoot developers support their software:

PiNN may be another choice, see:

I answered with information where to find the information you need, if you could be bothered to research..

Please be aware that if you just ran the supported Raspberry Pi OS then you could easily find the answers in the Help Section, after all this Forum is provided by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. All responders do so voluntarily, good luck with your quest !

PINN can use VNC.
Which model of RPi do you have? Not sure if LineageOS runs on the Pi4 yet, but Konsta will tell you.
PINN - NOOBS with the extras... https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=142574

LineageOS 16.0 (AOSP) does indeed "run" on the 4B

Berryboot supports VNC as well:

And below my script to convert (almost)any Raspberry img for Berryboot installation (USB stick or local network repo):

Return to “Android”
