Android Go on the Raspberry Pi 3?

Did you know that the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core has a quad core ARM Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.4GHz and also has 1GB RAM? The J2C's specs match those of the Raspberry Pi 3B+. The J2 Core runs Android Go, a version of Android optimised for low-powered smartphones which would struggle to run the full version of Android. Android Go comes preloaded with optimised versions of the apps the full version of Android comes with. You can download a lot of additional apps from the Play Store. Android Go seems like a good OS to port to the Raspberry Pi 3 considering the good reviews of the Galaxy J2 Core as a basic phone that runs many other apps perfectly fine. Is there any progress of porting this OS to the Raspberry Pi 3?

Don't forget that the ARM core used is only a part of the compatibility / performance. There's also the VPU to consider.
