Hello, I was wondering why if it would be possible to get a version of android go from somewhere? I have seen it runs off the android 8.1 oreo version. The latest phone made by Alcatel (Alcatel 1) has the following:
"Alcatel 1 will be powered by the MediaTek MT6739 SoC, which has a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU. Other specifications include, users also get just 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage, which you should find barely workable with the special Go apps suite that takes up less space than you'd expect."
"Android Go is a whole new version of Google’s operating system designed specifically for those with low-end devices that don’t pack much RAM or processing power.
It’s a lighter version of the Android OS and makes the system more optimized for devices with lower performing specs. It’s designed specifically for phones with between 512MB to 1GB of RAM, which are now few and far between but still exist."
