Hello, I was wondering why if it would be possible to get a version of android go from somewhere? I have seen it runs off the android 8.1 oreo version. The latest phone made by Alcatel (Alcatel 1) has the following:

You mean for Raspberry Pi? My LineageOS 15.1 build (viewtopic.php?f=73&t=220613&sid=a336a0a ... 43b2efc4d3) is actually Android Go (https://github.com/lineage-rpi/android_ ... 143de06ba8). It's actually not much than rebrand of Android low memory configuration (https://source.android.com/devices/tech/perf/low-ram) that's been around since KitKat with some new parameters.

Lightweight versions of certain Google applications available through Play Store is completely new with Android Go, though.

Does your version of lineage have support for these android go apps? If not, will you be implementing it anytime soon? Will your version of lineage be coming to the RPi 3B+ with USB boot? I think what I have found previously with you version of android is that the cursor is not seen properly, and in some apps it does not work everywhere.

Google apps are not included in my images so it's your choice what gapps package you choose to install (if any). E.g. Open GApps doesn't provide any Android Go gapps package but I'm sure you can find some by independent developers (XDA, etc). Or you can try sideloading individual Go apps with regular gapps package.

LineageOS 14.1 has few issues because of graphics drivers - mouse cursor is of them, but it's quite easily resolved (viewtopic.php?f=73&t=220601&sid=1f0be46 ... 4#p1353834). LineageOS 15.1 uses different graphics drivers so there's never been such issue. LineageOS 15.1 uses software renderer so the graphics performance is not so great overall, though.

That is a shame but understandable. Many thanks for the hard work you have put in. It's just a shame that someone's despicable behaviour has spoiled things for everyone else.

It must feel a big disappointment for you since someone has stolen and sold your work. Could you not contact google asking for some help with this? Personally I felt that your build and EmteriaOS are the leaders in the raspberry android world. Could it not be possible to implement a activation code into the software that is given out when a person for example registers? This might be able to stop RaspAnd devs from releasing you code?

Also do you have any plans for any more projects? I would like to see anything else in the making/made.

I've done all kinds of cool stuff before (https://konstakang.com/tag/). There's even some very old stuff dating back to Android Gingerbread and I've done some Firefox OS and Sailfish OS builds as well. But mostly maintained CyanogenMod/LineageOS builds for various devices because that's just what I like to run on my devices. Coming from Android custom ROM scene Raspberry Pi has been a completely new experience for me as well (as it's not an Android device to begin with).

I wasn't planning on stopping hacking devices. Maybe I'll get some new toy at some point. We'll see, there's no plans currently.
