Is emteria.OS Safe to Use?

Mon Jan 15, 2018 8:33 pm

Hi guys! I am new to Raspberry Pi 3 and basically I want to install android to RPi3. I just want you guys feedback before I install it because I heard many of such third party operating system projects are unsafe to use/contain virus or spy bots. Looking forward for responses, thanks in advance :)

Maybe try Lineage:

Alternatively try PiNN, I believe it has Emteria:

Probably not here, as stated above, its a community supported distro, nothing to do with us.

LineageOS 14.1 (Android 7.1.2) for Raspberry Pi 3 B would be my recommendation to anyone looking to install Android and not just indulging in in-line link spamming. LineageOS 14.1 worked and performed well for me when I installed it -

LineageOS 15.1 (Android 8.1.0) for Raspberry Pi 3 B and B+ was much more clunky and slow when I tried it, and what I'd consider a worse Android experience anyway, so I woudn't recommend that other than to see for yourself.

Konsta is a member here and the builds of Lineage are free and open source - https://github.com/lineage-rpi

Pinn had emteria but I had some remote install problems so I removed it for the moment. I hope to have it back soon. PINN does include Konsta's Lineage 14 though.
