Android Development

Thu Sep 27, 2012 5:30 am

As I'm sure a few of us are, I'm pretty excited about Android coming to our Pis. I'm actually a bit curious as to how that whole thing is coming along though. Last I heard about it was almost 2 months ago and there were only audio problems with. Does anybody know about the process of the Android port?

Not heard anything specific to Raspi - the whole of the Android development for Videocore is under development at the moment at Broadcom - lots of people working on it. Once that's 'done' more can be done on the Raspi. But as to schedule, no idea. A while yet would be my guess
