Interesting thing is that its not based on the all winner chip! Of course it won't have the community support the pi does

Hi guys,
like Guidol i wonder how the Raspberry can cope with ICS so well having just 256MB. Any ideas?

All the graphics are handled by the Videocore which offloads a lot of work (and RAM requirements to some extent I believe) to the GPU, but it's still a bit short of memory.

Actualy the requirements for ics are based on the filesystems being on the same nand chip as the ram
This is not the case with the pi, and there is plenty of ram
