I.m looking for the old USB chip documentation DWC_otg_databook.pdf .
In the documentation for BCM2835 tehy say it can be downloaded from
Synopsys, but it seems Synopsys changed the access rules: you have to
have an account, and to have an account you have to provide a "site number",
which I don't.
So: can someone send me this file ?

i believe that document is behind NDA, and the rpi engineers shouldnt have even let the filename slip, they have said so before
there are other chips with a similar usb controller, and the docs are 90% right, but the last 10% thats wrong can leave you running in circles for a month, ive been therehttps://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/pull/3151 wrote: Yes, i also assume the PHY is part of the DWC2 IP. Unfortunately we don't have a PHY driver yet, the devicetree fake this via non-op driver. Maybe this is the root cause of this issue. The BCM2835 datasheet provides a register description for MDIO access incl. VBUS interrupt.
In case you need a datasheet for the DWC2 IP, try to google for Silicon Labs EZR32WG. It seems to use the same core.
