Searching a book for in-depth ARM11 development

Wed Nov 28, 2012 5:12 pm

Dear community,

I'd like to start ARM11 development as soon as my RPi arrives (hopefully in the next 2 weeks).
Most likely it will be just for personal use, but I always wanted to learn assembler, so I want to get a bit more into it.
Now I'm searching for a book to educate me and get me into the world of ARM programming.
This one sounds pretty good, but in the comments multiple people mentioned that there is almost no ARM11 part. Now I'd be grateful if you could recommend me a book that's a bit more thorough in terms of this specific architecture.

Thanks in advance,
Blue

You need the ARM Architectural Reference Manual (ARM ARM). There's more information and links in this thread: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 10&start=2
