Multiple Frame Buffers

I've got my Bare Metal programming off to a decent start and have a (basic) Pacman game running.
What I'd like to ask is if it is possible to have multiple frame buffers and to swap between them, and if there's a way of using a VSYNC?
I have this ... -interface for info on mailbox commands, but it's not clear if any of these will do what I want. Perhaps the offset command.

You could make the virtual screen double the size of the physical screen, and then just switch the offset between the two. Not sure if it works in practice, but the framebuffer API has room for virtual screens.
