Using a game controller with the pi

Sun May 10, 2015 4:53 pm

Does anybody know how to use a USB game controller with the Pi? The normal game controller has many useful interface joysticks, buttons, and etc and is USB. Surely there is some software out there that when installed on the Pi will let the game controller control the Pi. In particular, I would like to use two pis connected together via wireless, connect a game controller to one, and then use the remote pi to do various things. Any suggestions?

usb+wireless+multi-commands+game controller+???
lot of work and from what you ask you don't want to code a lot
you should start with 2 linux one in ssh and the one connected with your controller to send it commands
or the good usb wip bare-metal driver (but you have to code a big lot this way

Return to “Bare metal, Assembly language”
