I am a real noob when it comes to linux really. I used it here and there for general usage but when it comes to topics such as compiling my own kernel, I literally give up. The guides aren't really helpful and I am absolutely lost, so I decided to come here and do something that nobody seemed to have done before according to my searches:
I would like to ask some nice person out there to tell me how I can get a kernel with ppp, pppoe, modconf, pppoeconf support so that I can connect my raspberry pi using a dial-up connection.
This has probably been asked a thousand times but I couldn't find any topic that was "detailed" enough so that even I would understand what to do.
Kernel with pppoe
