Why the excitement now when I'd posted this a couple of days ago on your other thread?
Does Eben restating it make it any different?

Just following up with more coverage from your Boss!
Maybe you would like to ask Eben the same question ?

6by9 and I were just talking to Eben on this subject over lunch. Igalia have done a great job on this and are still going; 3.2 is on its way.

When I asked Eben about 3.2 on Twitter yesterday he said "Big changes from 3.1 to 3.2 are tessellation and geometry shading. We have an implementation of the latter, but have paused the former while we look at other things." so it sounds like a decision has been made to keep going to 3.2 8-)
