Introduction to Raspi graphics programming

Thu Dec 13, 2012 10:51 am

Hi, is the a "Graphics programming in C for dummies" type book that would relate to the raspberry pi. Or a PDF on graphics for morons!

My goal is to have a coloured background with a few coloured shapes and then have each shape performing a function like sending a serial command on the UART or just unmounting a usb drive.

How many people opened this expecting an introduction to graphics programming? If you did I whole heartedly apologise (but watch this thread and if you get a response or solution please add a link)
I assume I know what I`m talking about... I probably don`t

Have you looked at the examples in /opt/vc/src/hello_pi ?
