SOLVED (sort of) Opencv (Python) toolbar

Mon Apr 08, 2019 1:03 pm

The documentation for opencv calls the grey bar shown at the top of the image below as the 'toolbar', but it always appears grey unless you move the mouse over it then some buttons appear. Anyway of showing anything on this bar, or even the buttons all the time, or possibly removing the bar if it won't work properly ?

Thanks

I have worked around the issue by using

Code: Select all

cv2.namedWindow(winName,cv2.WINDOW_GUI_NORMAL)
cv2.setWindowProperty(winName,cv2.WND_PROP_FULLSCREEN, cv2.WINDOW_FULLSCREEN)
which works on my 3.5" display, but still has some smaller grey bars top and bottom, probably the aspect ratio of my window, but gets rid of the 'invisible' buttons.
