Hi all,
I just got my first Raspberry Pi (model B+) which I'd like to use as a Linux server running Debian. Thus, I only require a base installation of Debian, including network and SSH support. However, I don't need any graphical interface or any other additional packages... I've noticed that Raspbian comes with a lot of stuff preinstalled, such as libraries to play various audio and video media, programming tools, education software, MIDI synthesizers and loads more... I've tried to manually remove all the things which I don't require, but after about 2 hours of doing that I'm kind of getting frustrated... Is there any way of just installing a bare minimum Raspbian without all the extra packages? I know various 'unofficial' installers and images have been released, but those that I found seem to be no longer actively maintained...
Thanks for any help with this!
Robin
