Wheezy 2014-01-07 PANIC

Tue Feb 04, 2014 3:17 am

This seems to be a left over issue from the 2013-12-20 release.

Conditions:

MPD playing fm radio stream
USB keyboard and mouse connected
wifi connection
I2C bus enabled

It takes several minutes of playing music for the kernel to panic.

Can anyone else duplicate this issue?

If you have:
-a wifi connection
-a usb keyboard
-a usb mouse
-can add mpd and mpc (sudo apt-get install mpd mpc)
-then play a music stream for about 45 minutes

you should see the same issue.

using mpc the command line to play a stream would be

Code: Select all

mpc add http://wttw.ic.llnwd.net/stream/wttw_wfmt_livebroadcast
mpc play

This bug has been reported in a plurality of places. It seems to be in-work. The master bug report is at https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/499
