simple start up script

I'm new to the raspberry community and im learning to program and i was wondering if there was a way i could run a simple script i wrote that asks your name and how old you are and how are you and eventually says if you are not the main user you need to get of this pi but i want it to launch script in an application when it boots to destop is this possible?

/home/pi/.config/autostart should you be autostart directory when it comes to desktop

Assuming it's a python script you're running, create a file in the directory I mention with .desktop extension.
yourscript.desktop for an example and the contents should be something like that:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Type=Application
Name=myscipt
Comment=Exec=sudo python /home/pi/myscipt.py
StartupNotify=false
Terminal=false
Hidden=false
