crontab empy why?

I have a line in crontab. I don't know when but sometime the crontab is empty.

How could I know what happens?

will show you the contents
suydo crontab -l
will show the root crontab

have you put it in another one ?

Yes I know,
when I do crontab -l is empty and I don't know the cause of why it has disappeared

When you used crontab -e to enter the line did you save the file with Ctrl O and then Ctrl X to exit the editor ( assuming nano used )
and did cron respond with installing new cron

When you say the line disappears is this after a reboot ?

has your sdcard gone read only?

i.e. ls -l >poo
reboot
is file poo still there ?

[poo is Potentially Over-writable Object if you're interested]

Take a look at /var/spool/cron/crontabs that's where they get stored.
